Cabra Pelletstown Phibsboro Update

Broombridge Station

Irish Rail are actively following through on commitments to improve the environment surrounding the station and DCC are also examining the area to see how we can support these efforts.

 

Pelletstown

Roads Department are in the process of arranging a meeting with developers with regard to progressing the completion of the estate.  They will present a report with a list of requirements to Castlethorn and Ballymore in order for them to request the necessary funds from NAMA to complete all of the infrastructural items that are vital to the safety of residents and the general public.

 

Phibsborough LAP

The public consultation on the Issues Paper finished on 5th August, and the Manager’s Report summarising all of the submissions (108 in total) went to the October City Council meeting where the recommendation to proceed with the preparation of the Draft Plan was accepted. It is expected that the plan will go on display early in the New Year.

 

Ratoath Road Community Liaison – Irish Rail Project

The new bridge was installed in August but the project is not scheduled to be completed until Spring 2015. The Liaison Committee continues to meet at DCC offices in Cabra. The two major issues at present centre on the landscaping of land between Ratoath Road and Ratoath Estate and a new boundary wall.

 

Royal Canal

The Dublin City Canals Day of Action is proposed for next April, representatives from Dodder Action gave a presentation on the development of their group, at the Dodder Action Day on Wednesday 10th December in the Wood Quay Venue.

Dublin City Development Plan 2016-22

Written submissions or observations with respect to the Issues Paper may be made at the Cabra Area Office, where the Issues Paper is on display, from the 10th November 2014 to 14th January 2015.

Riverston Taking in Charge

Maps outlining the proposal by DCC to take in charge Riverston Gardens, Riverston Abbey, Navan Road, Dublin 7, are on display at the Cabra Office until the 15th December 2014
